| A flame fractal created in the GIMP, its messy, branchy look immediately appealed, but it needed something more than plain black for the background. A sudden inspiration made me try a plasma background (also from the GIMP), blending the layers in difference mode, giving this surreal, glowing nest-type thing (perhaps more like a squirrel's dray) against a bruised and lowering sky. | |
