A Year at Padley Wood - High Summer

Heat is the overwhelming theme this month: 2005 has already produced a memorable summer, day after day of tropical sunshine that delights the spirit but wearies the body. Steady watering is necessary in the garden but the rewards are worthwhile: hot colours sing, both individually and in combination.
