    Website construction

This website was originally constructed with Microsoft Front Page. Now working exclusively with MAX's HTML Beauty++ 2004. Best viewed at 1024 x 768 (or larger), at least 24-bit true colour.

Arial family font for most text, Alleycat ICG for the logo, plus a few special fonts elsewhere (these have now been turned into .gifs to remove the need for possessing the fonts).

The original sunflowers picture (now reduced to the favicon) is filched from a Marjongg tile (I like to think of it as representing the spirit of freedom, with the weather forever summer...), and the old colour scheme was largely based around this theme - as re-formatting progresses, the colour schemes are themed largely on a per-section basis. A few pages still have textured/graphic backgrounds - their future is undecided.

    Native RSS feed

The site has its own RSS feed. What is it? A rapid method of remaining up-to-date with your favourite website without having to visit to check whether it has been updated. How to make use? Most browsers now support feeds discovery. Or use a news aggregator, either web-based or desktop. Two useful lists:

    http://www.dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Internet/Clients/WWW/Feed_Readers/
    http://www.newsonfeeds.com/faq/aggregators

For this, you'll need the URL:

Mashup with fractal art feed plus polyfractalisation and MetaMind blogs:

    Site only feed:

    Or, via the FeedBurner service:
